Xtra Mechanical Limited is proud to offer a solution to LEED requirements for a MERV 8 filter for your HVAC equipment. XTRAP offers MERV 8 efficiency in the convenience and economy of bulk media rolls and pads. Media pads can be retrofitted to your existing HVAC equipment using permanent metal frames.

XTRAP media is constructed of two plys of polyester fibers and is 1-1/4" (32mm) thick with a non-migrating tackifier. The XTRAP media is stenciled with "MERV 8" on the downstream side of the media to offer easy visual confirmation of efficiency. XTRAP has an initial resistance of 0.33" W.G. (82 PA) at 300 FPM (1.52 m/sec) with a recommended final resistance of 1.0" W.G. (249 PA).
